I Just wanted to post some of my recent drawing based work.
The first was set by Derek and is for our story boarding module. The brief was to do a short storyboard comprising of between 7 and 20 frames in which two characters/objects are travelling, one slowly and one quickly, until they meet in the same location.
Although we dint have to base it on anything I choose to base mine of the old fable about a tortoise and a hare in which they both head out on a race, but the sly hare thinks that he is a shoe in to win and takes a nap which allows the tortoise to take the lead proving that slow and steady wins the race. However as the brief stated that the two characters should start from different locations I had my slow character starting off from just outside of the final locations, whereas the hare starts of at the opposite side of our setting lazing around at the beach, the sun setting proves that some time has gone by the tortoise is ever closer to the final destination when the hare suddenly becomes alarmed about the time and races down the stream on his boat to the final destination only to be beaten by the tortoise.
